not a goof.. it's $109 price like it is on amazon.. but with the first time purchase discount and free returns waived.

At first I was annoyed with this post, then I found I actually liked it because the title actually states the site and the requirement so you could figure out if this is a deal you could get. Too many times I'm seeing "<PRODUCT X> $200" then you see the link and it's 50% more, because you need an AmEx card, tied to a Visa Checkout, that's linked to a Paypal account, that's for new customers who just signed up for Amazon Prime, combined with a product code if you signed up with their email list, then finally using a gift card that you got for free if you bought something else 4 months ago.

So bravo OP, bravo (and I'm not being sarcastic about this).

That said, how does this drive rate? $82 ain't half bad, although I'd probably pay the extra $3 and not waive the free return, I'm seeing a few too many issues about Jet products.

Here's a TweakTown review of the Ultra II 480GB.

Performance looks quite nice for the price. It's a definite cut above your typical entry-level drive.

Edit: [H] reviewed the 960GB version of the Ultra II and did note some downsides around write-related tasks.
