I just picked this up to put on an old built I'm turning into a HTPC.

Now once I install it in the PCIE 2.0 slot and install all the drivers would I get 7.1 via HDMI? Or would I have to change some jumper on my mobo? or connect some cable from the mobo to the video card?

I ask because I know that in some you do, but I see no cable included or no place to connect on the card itself.

Tell Windows and the soundcard util how many speakers you are using.
