Well, I have an Asus A8V Motherboard. It cant detect SATA HDDs without the drivers (You have to make floppy disks for them, which I have done, at least for the 378 Raid Drivers) and it still cant detect the SATA HDDs. I have a 36gig raptor which is going to be my boot/program sector, and a 120gig Seagate for storage. What am I doing wrong? What drivers do I have to use? My floppy drive works, so I know thats not the problem. Help me!! X_X

not really sure..if this is a clean install then boot from the windows disc..it'll say hit f6 to install additional drivers ..it'll prompt for the floppy .installl and away you go...

Does the bios recognise the HDD... you may have to make sure sata is enabled, but usually you do the above and your all set

Edit-- make sure the bios is the most current also

thanks for your input mate, but I took matters into my own hands and wrote out my own drivers, and they worked perfect. Im on my computer now, trying to get WoW up and running. only 10 more levels till 60!
