I heard these were pretty fast.

I've seen two of those in Raid 0 do burst speed of 383.9 MB/sec! I don't know how they perform in real world applications though, but it's still an impressive number.

I'm actually thinking about selling my Raptor and picking up one or two to go along with my Ultra-D. Should I go for it?

Is anyone else running SATA II?
 
in the real world a transfer rate of 80MB/s is good since HDD;'s are the slowest thing in your computer.
 
One Maxtor 16MB buffer drive (and your Raptor assuming it's a 73GB) will outperform the two of those, even if they are in RAID-0. The Maxtor will give you a lot more capacity for a little bit more money.
