I got a simple question, I have 4 IDE Devices, my 2Harddrives, and my dvd and cd burner. Now my question is, Do most Onboard that controll Scsi & IDE allow proper usage of both of them? LIke, I want to add some Scsi HDDs (In raid 0 for Video editing), but will I have any issues (besides the raid) of IDE and Scsi?

Thank you in advance!

What is your motherboard?

I have 2 IDE HD's, 2 IDE CD-RW's, 2 SATA's and 1 SCSI (boot). It all works fine.

If your BIOS has an option to boot from SCSI you'll be fine. If your board is so old that it doesn't (like my old Socket 7) then you can boot from the SCSI as long as the ATA drives are not connected.
