I guess it is a good deal for people who want to try out seagate especially if they want to get in on the new 5 year warantee goodness.

Where's a good site for noise ratings? I'm happy with my Seagate Barracuda IV, but eventually I'll need to upgrade to a larger/SATA device.
 
I got 2...no complaints so far...everything works great and yep...it is super quiet. 5 year warranty makes the maxtors and wds look bad they were 1 year now I believe....with some wds wit 3 year...but it's not very common.
 
should i go for these outpost and buy.com deals??

or should I wait until those 200 gig for 80 dollars ar deals?

Im about to buy 4x200gB drives, $80 a piece would be sweet lol
 
oh, I mean you know every once in a while 3-4 months there is always a deal that goes like 200/160 gigs for like 50-60 dollars and so on... with 3 rebates ...
