semi OT, but I can't seem to get image links to work.

How can I get a weird image address to work? This is one from my strike9 account.

that link sent me to a page, i clicked the fullscreen and got this

Some sites don't let you link images from outside sources

If you want the images to work, host them elsewere, like the forum is down. www.theforumisdown.com It's free and lets you post pix easily

strike9 is a remote image host. That's why I was asking.

I've been able to use their links for other sies, but here they just seem to not work. Does this board have an issue with meta-chars in a URL?

OK I got it the base URL was this

http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=%5cCatatonic%5cfullsize%5cside-open.JPG

now %5c is this symbol \ That is making the forum barf.

The ? is also making it barf. Replace with \ again.


so the working link is now http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx\path=\Catatonic\fullsize\side-open.JPG
