?Servers block unlocks?

I have a question. I often see a zero next to the option of "allow unlocks" or something like that. Does the zero mean that they chose not to allow players to use their unlocks? In fact I don't think I have ever seen any other number there. Also I've never seen other players using new weapons. Just wondering

On unranked servers, yes, that's supposed to disable the unlock weapons for all players. That way, some twerp who plays BF2 all day because they don't have to work like the rest of us doesn't have an unfair advantage.

On ranked servers, that bit probably gets ignored, so it doesn't surprise me if it's set to 0 on ranked servers.

the weapons are not unbalanced to really doesnt matter if someone plays all day. they just give you somethign to work for.
