Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

Yeah, but i cannot find where i can use dualview in Synergy, like we can do in Maxivista!

You can't. Synergy lets you use your mouse and keyboard on another computer, whereas Maxivista lets you use another computer as an extra monitor.

There you have it... you have all been such an inspiration!

Is that an N52TE I see there? Do you like it.

Yes it is... and yes I do. For most games it is a waste. But for RTS and MMO's it is just plain awesome. Razer software is hard to beat. Also great for CAD work.

Though if you are in the market for one check out Logitech's new G13 first as it just came out and looks to be a serious competitor to Belkin's Nostromo.

Nice system and a pleasure to meet a fellow R/C enthusiast! I've been flying R/C helicopters for about 2 years and love the hobby.

:D I have this big park across the street from the house now and its full of snow for the next couple of months so I cant wait to get the revo out hehe

I've never seen a pushpin ceiling before...

Awesome isn't it? All those things poking out of it are christmas lights...

Its really a ugly room/basement but it has its neat little quirks... (I just moved into this place a month ago) I didn't realize how ugly the yellow paint was till I took pics... normally the lights are off in this area and the rest is painted a nice blue...

I like the computer in the first shot. Stays alot cooler that way I bet. What possessed you to put it in a case?

Should remove my pics from your quote. This was originally a lan rig so the techstation is counter indicative of that.

The techstation was a temp thing while I got my comp running stable (as I was having a lot of problems getting this rig running thanks to 680i BS) and until I got my case done.

I have a few worklogs of it around... here are some more pics of it though

And this is pic more or less shows the jist of it all

Only the motherboard runs cooler by a few degree's on the techstation. Rest of my temps are obviously lower when in the case.

Well guys here's my new LCD setup for 2009!

;)

Nice setup.

Can someone tell me what model keyboard and mouse that is? Are they a set?

Cheers!

P.s. another lame question. what's that plant growing in water called? One of those would be good too :)

My new setup. Dell 2707WFP 27" in the middle and a Dell 2407WFPHC 24" on the side. YES that is an IBM model M keyboard.

Thanks man! :) I'll take some better pictures later, I moved things around.

Looks like that other guy answered your question :D

Thanks for the answers.

Seems like the Logitech S 510 has been superseded by the 520 here, but hopefully I can find a 510 set still in stock somewhere.

I didn't recognise that as Bamboo, didn't know it could grow in water.

What size tech station is that?
That's the newer top shelf one also correct?

If that's a Microsoft Fingerprint Reader... how do you like it? What do you mainly use it for & any con's about it?

Meh. I got it with a wireless mouse from Woot.com ages ago. That is why it is bigger than the standard MS reader, it also serves as the mouse receiver. I no longer use the mouse but I keep the fingerprint reader around as it allows a quick login to the system. Since I am not a security nazi in my own house ( I live alone) it really just lets me bypass the password screen quickly.

Most optical readers like that one have been shunned because they are so easy to fool. The capacitance readers like the one I have on my dell laptop are more secure but I have to swipe 40+ times it seems to get them to work. :)

To be honest I would not recommend it to buy. I would take a free one if offered. The password management software is a joke. I use Roboform instead and but it does not work with the reader and if it did I would not use it for that as security IS a concern there.

My Dell 3008WFP was delivered yesterday. :D I don't have the time to set it up until the weekend, but here's a pic of my new baby:

JEALOUSY!!!!! I just ordered everything I need to build my first rig about 30 minutes ago!!! Getting new gadgets is so much fun :p

I wanted to order their 30 inch... but I decided on saving for a TV first. I watch movies much more... rather be bluraying on a bigger screen :)

I almost went with a 32" or 37" HDTV like the Panasonic Z800 series, but I spend so much more time on my computer than watching TV/movies. I really hope this 3008 works out as a monitor and HDTV.

Samsung 2493HM + Logitech MX5500 + Logitech X-230.... That's the non-glossy version of the 2493HM btw... I bet no one has seen that one before. Need to buy a new cam though...

f_deskm_d54e53b.jpg

I have had that, is there a glossy version of it? I havent seen one, I would like a glossy version.

Re-jigged my setup and also got a Sony Bravia 40" Z-Series screen
