Is it possible to fit a ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU Heatsink into one of these shuttles? If you have successfully fit one in please post, and if their was any modding that needed to be done please tell me how you did it :D

That would be stupid to start with. Shuttle ICE cooling system is much better for xpc's than zalman. Heatpipes move heat to the back of the system where its quickly taken out by the fan. By using zalman you have heat spread all around and you compromise air flow.

...and 7700cu is huge. It uses 12 cm fan and it's to tall too. There is no way it would fit i nany G series shuttle. It's wide almost as CD rom drive and 2,6 Inches tall.

Next time You can visit web page and check it out yourself :)

All HSF combos made to function inside of normal cases need airflow thru the case. ICE design doesn't cause it generates airflow in the case. Removing ICE make isn't good idea. Ony way to gett more cooling preformance then ICE does is to use Water cooling (Specialy external though then SFF looses it's sence)
If You wanna improve Your ICE cooling read My post over G chassis cooling.
