Would it be possible to use the Silverstone SG01 Evolution case with the eVGA board that monarch sells in the hornet? Then put in 2x 7800GTX 512mb cards?

Well I'd like to spend around 4k

Case: $150
FX-60: $1000
Motherboard: $400 (for the Hornet System)
2x 7800GTX 512MB $1500
2x 500GB Western Digital HD's $800

Total: $3850 roughly

That leaves me money for a power supply and other stuff.

Would it be worth it? Or just get one the MSI motherboards with the ATI Chipset and a x1900xtx?

It would be possible- If you went to GA and robbed monarch of their SLI boards.

Yeah, it would work, but I'd be pretty worried about the temperature for that system. The Silverstone is known to have cooling issues with even just a normal setup. But you plan to put 2x 512mb 7800GTX's in there, so it might be too cramped in there. The only solution i see is if you mod the case and put more fans.

I think even if I went with a x1900xtx I'd still use the eVGA SLI board and just get the cheapest Hornet I can get from Monarch. Anyone else have suggestions? If it was Crossfire I'd go for it in a heartbeat.

Any idea on when it will be shipping? I wouldn't mind because then it would have a warranty. I can use an off the shelf powersupply like a Seasonic 600W right? If I built my own.
