Skype/video chat on the go?

Okay, so I might be getting more housemates in August, and I only have a desktop right now that I use for skype video. If I need to move to another room for peace and quiet, which is extremely likely (and happens even now), what tablet or netbook would be a really good choice for wireless internet and video? I don't really want to get a laptop, a tablet or netbook would be ideal. Thank you for any ideas and suggestions. It doesn't need to be skype, but a good video chat service thats also compatible with windows is just fine.
