SLI with two different card manufacturers

I have a 8800GT made by BFG. I am thinking about purchasing another 8800GT and running them in SLI.

My question is this: If I purchased a 8800GT made by a company like EVGA or Asus, could I still run it in SLI with my current 8800GT made by BFG?

I -think- I can. I think this was ironed out back in the series 6 cards, but I could be mistaken. I just want to make sure before I spend $250 dollars.

Yes you can. It's in the SLI FAQ.

yeah u can. just make sure they have the same amount of memory for ease.
