Slow Year?

I kinda remember all the buzz last year with C2D and the DX10 gaming cards and the Physics cards and what not else.
so...
is it me, or is this a slow year all around?

the most excitement seems to be coming from Blue-ray vs HD-DVD fight.

the forums used to be crawling with people screaming of how much they wan to buy a new DX10 card with best CPU possible...
and here I am sitting behind a pc thats celebrating its first anniversary, and im happy with what i got and i can safely say, that id didnt miss any thing by not waiting..
well except maybe a better mobo. those first gen C2D 965 mobos werent the best.

Yeah you're right it has been a slow year. I guess the excitement now is going to be with getting HD-DVD and Blue-Ray players in their computers . Well they're still a couple months for some maybe interesting announcements.

Or we can just look forward to things next year .
