If you don't want to wait, this looks like a nifty (but completely different) RSS screensaver for OSX 10.3 which also has 3D floating clocks:

I just found it now, haven't tried it out yet since I'm not at home on my mac. You can specify up to 99 RSS news sources.

*edit* DAMMIT the Radeon 9200 is not on the supported graphics cards list. So us mac mini owners are out of luck, once again.

don't really think so as RSS was announced at the WWDC

RSS isn't exactly a new technology that's a trade secret protected by Apple you know.
No reason why they should be upset about this....
