Snow Leopard and file sharing

iMac i5, latest version of the OS. I have various Windows 7 PCs with shares on the network. None are showing up in Finder. Help!

I found a tip suggesting that I add my Mac to the same workgroup... done. I can ping the Windows 7 PCs by IP address. Suggestions on how to proceed?

In Finder, choose Help. Search for "connecting to Windows computers".

Make sure the Mac is in the same Workgroup as your windows computers too.

I was able to figure this out. Apparently there's a known issue with Snow Leopard losing track of shares in Finder. Pulling them up again through Apple menu | Recent Items gets the server listed in Finder again.
