How fast should it run?

Dual 2600's
2GB Ram
Vista

Only has a 20GB HD but i'll change that :D

I would expect it to be relatively responsive as far as the OS goes, but don't expect it to perform well at games.

Actually they are not that bad.

I've got dual MP 2600+'s, w/512 L2 cache (Model 10), overclocked as MP 2800+'s (2.1 GHz), on an MSI K7D-L m/b, and other than it's 4x AGP video slot, when it comes to number crunching, such as w/Distributed Computing, it runs neck to neck w/A64's, when using a 32 bit OS.

Einstein@Home:

Dual 2.1 Ghz O/C'd MP2600+'s - 3428 million ops/sec (Measured Integer Speed); 2030 million ops /sec (Measured floating point speed)

Dual Core 2.2 GHz A64 4200+'s x2 - 3724 mops/sec (Measured Integer Speed); 2040 mops Measured floating point speed)

Dual 3.2 GHz Xeon's - 1668 mops/sec (Measured Integer Speed); 1413 mops/sec Measured floating point speed)

I've retired P4's and single core A64's, but I'm still running my MP2600+'s till they die. I've upgraded the case, cooling fans, power supply, added more memory, the OS from Windows 2000 Pro to XP Pro, and the hard drive.

Yeah, they are good for folding and general use. The OP never really said what he used it for but in games it wouldnt be good.
Ive long since gave up on dual socket since dual/quad core is faster, cheaper, and easier.(except the server mb's)
Even though i do have dual p3 and a dual xeon systems, when they die, oh well!
