Ok guys. I wanted to see if anyone has either of these displays and can give their opinion or if they have been able to compare them to each other in real life. With both i have seen sites that say they have a refresh rate of 120Hz and others that say they have a normal 60Hz refresh. Anyone know which is true? The display would be used as a TV/Monitor.
 
So is it basically down to which brand you prefer? Or does one have a better picture than the other?
 
Okay, so neither has 120Hz. My main use would be for the PC. I've seen both TVs. I think the Sony's picture is sharper. It's got a sleeker looking bezel, too.
 
Ya in the same boat here on the pc use. I have a Samsung right now (19" monitor) and think its great. Never owned a Sony tv but i must say the Sony design does look nice. I guess i can always get it and see what happens.
 
Sony and Samsung buy the same panels. You're choosing close competitors and you'll receive very similar products.
