Since I have decided to use a kvm switch for my PC and PS3 to my LCD monitor which have no speakers, I will need a source of sound for the console. Which speakers would you recommend? I'm assuming it would have to have a digital out to connect to the PS3. I'm looking for something under $150.

For under $150...this is pretty hard to beat. It has optical in for your ps3. you will get 5.1 dd or dts. Its no home theater..but for $107, its a great deal.

No, they will never be a good choice unless you nab them on clearance for $20 someday.
Get some Polk R150s on clearance at Outpost and a cheap receiver from like eCost.

erformance ratio sucks compared to a decent 2.0 or 2.1 system using bookshelf speakers and a T amp or cheapass receiver
