SSD raid cross brands? (same controller/NAND)

So my question here is I have two different sets of drives but from what I understand they are all the same controller/NAND

Can they Be raided or is it back to the same as a spinning drive?

You should be able to create a RAID even if they are different make/models, although it may depend on what hardware you are using. What are you using to create the RAID volume - chipset, Windows, or a RAID card?

I've used different size/brands of mechanical drives in RAID with no problem.

No big deal but the RAID array will have the characteristics of the smallest, slowest, drive in the array.

SSDs are no different.

I'm running a P6T with two Crucial 256GB C300s in RAID0 but have since upgraded to an LSI 9260-4i with 3 C300s.

AAR, just use the Intel ports and you'll be fine.
