Hey gang,

For the life of me, I can't get barkeep to buy, sell or trade with me.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I understand that he's one of the few traders in the game and, as such, is invaluable.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get him to barter?
 
Can you talk to him at all? I had one time where he was too far away to talk to, he was standing at his counter near the TV. He got stuck there, and I had to reload a previous save to get him to come near. Do you have a save you can revert to?
 
there is a way to push that other guy out of the way (or kill him) so you can get behind the bar. I think there is a video on youtube on how to do. If the bar guy is stuck, it may help.
 
Jump on top of the guy guarding the doorway, and then crouch to make your way through.
 
this is so irritating. I can't push the guy out of the way, can't seem to jump over him. ARGGHHHHHHHHHH
 
Jump on top of him, crouch, and walk towards the bar/doorway corner. You should be able to squeeze up enough to drop down.
