Start menu without grouping common programs?

How can I get the start menu to stop grouping several windows together? Like to have them all laid out. It gets kind of annoying.

do you mean the taskbar? right click it, hit properties and uncheck "group similar taskbar buttons"

I feel like an idiot for not snoopin around before hand.

Just found it playin around with options, before I saw the reply.
