Steam introduces Daily Deals

I can't take credit for this but I LOLed.

Steam sales? Every... single.. day? EVERY! SINGLE! DAMN!? DAY!? WHAAAAAAAAT?! KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

Played campaign with some friends last weekend, about 8 hours on the middle difficulty. We had a blast and laughed a lot.

If 8 hours is worth $5 to you, or you want to have a little fun in coop, it's worth it. Great game for screwing around.

Steam is #1 for epic deals on old and tired shitty games.

Arma 2 for $5 would be something else.

Need competitive pre-order deals steam. People are doing 25+ % off pre-orders while steam does 10% at best.

QFT, their strategy lately has been to milk the impulse-spenders, while maintaining higher prices on pre-orders. It's too bad I'm a bit of an impulse-spender myself. But even to me, Operation Flashpoint is not worth $5.

It is actually 25% further off the same 10% off that Steam has :p

Do you guys have to quote the ^@#$! picture every time? My scroll wheel hates you.

I think daily deals are a bit overkill....

I'm all up for saving money on games but this move will just flood the market with low dollar asshat games.

I got Dragon Rising sometime back (during a previous Steam sale). Its a fun game, but being a tactical military sim, it has a steep learning curve. Its not a braindead run and gun shooter ala Modern Warfare or Crysis, which probably turns alot of people off.

This daily deals thing will spread awareness of just how much junk is out there, too. Today's deal looks terrible.
