steam question about sales and prior purchases

Okay ive been googling all day but cant figure it out. On the 12 of June I bougth the call of duty warchest for %29.99 (nostalgia got the better of me) now this week on the super awesoem sale the entire cod set -mw2 is on for the same price. Steam wont upgrade me will they?
 
No. The only reason brick and motor stores offer price guarantees is because they have competition and completely different stock based business models which need customers to keep coming back to purchase physical stock.

Steam and other direct download systems will never give the customer any sort of price protection.
