Hey all.

I have an eVGA 8800 GTS 640mb (112sp) right now, and my step up window is coming to an end in 24~ days.

After seeing the notice that nvidia's 9800 is gonna be shown at CeBIT around March 4th, I realized my step up window is gonna be over by that time & I highly doubt a 9xxx series card is going to be released then (besides the 9600).

It's okay.. in any case.. I paid 369.99 for this card back in November, and right now, the 8800GTS 512 is 359.99 and the 8800GTX is 499.99

Which one should I get? I want this card to last a long time for future games, (and my mobo is not SLI compatible). I game at 1920 x 1080, so that's why I'm leaning towards the GTX.. although, how well do the GTS 512mb OC ?

Any help?

GTS. Pretty much the same performance as GTX. Made on a smaller process so it should run cooler. Probably overclocks better. I love my GT so you should really love the GTS.

yea, unless you wanna do tri-sli, i really see no reason to pick up an 8800 gtx when the gts 512 is neck and neck with it for ~$150 less on your price tags......

GTS 512mb it is in T-Minus 24 days.. :D

I just got a feeling as if the GTX may be worth the extra 150 since i am running at a higher res ( the 320 bit bus would be more beneficial). But, if the G92 GTS can OC more, then well there I go :)

for sure get the gts, this thing is a monster. I wish mine would overclock higher, but it's already running way higher than the SSC edition, and I got the most basic one.
