Tomorrow im gonna replace the SB Live Value that came with my Dell with my spiffy new Audigy 2 zs platinum. Before i install the new drivers (And driver updates, and registry update, and bios updates--not kidding on any) i need to remove the old stuff. I know i've prolly
installed the wrong driver updates, but i never realized until recently and it has all worked fine.
Anyone have steps to remove the old creative drivers and programs (the steps on the creative site wont work as well for me)? And do i have to go into Device Manager and do something too?

I heard that mentioned....

Is it usually a good idea to manually uninstall the files first anyway? And do i have to do this in safe mode?

Run the creative uninstaller
shut down
remove the card
Boot the system
Run drivercleaner
shutdown
install the new card
away you go. :)
