So this might not be the best time to ask this since I'm hearing of the issues with reading temperatures on this chip, but I'm wondering if the stock fan on this would be good enough for someone who doesn't plan to overclock.

I love the fact that a Coolermaster TX2 can bring down the temps and it looks cool, but for me, who doesn't plan to overclock, is it really worth it. Even more now with the smaller, 45 chipset.

Just wondering?

Stock coolers are made for stock performance.

It'll do its job. (How it achieves it however... ie. 100% fan speed, is up to it. No idea if it'll ever need to go to 100% though).

Is noise a factor? 80% of the HSFs out there will probably be able to provide a lot better noise control with a WHOLE lot better coling. I haven't been "stock" on any CPU since the original Pentium days...so I guess I can't fathom this question. What's stock again? Is that where you buy a bunch of cool stuff and don't mess with it at all? :p
