I'm having these really strange freezing problems on my desktop. Basically what happens is when I try to go and play a 3D game my computer will totally lockup. This only happens after I've had the system up for several hours. If I game right after rebooting everything works fine, but if I let my system sit idle for a while and then go to game it locks up almost immediately after entering the game.
The strange thing is that there is no crash dump being created when this happens.I'm pretty stumped as to what is causing this. Any ideas as for what to test would be much appreciated. The machine in question is the one in my sig.
