Stupid ?? about 7800 & 7900

I currently have a XFX 7800 GTX 256meg (490*1300 clocks). so here is the dumb question can i combine a 7800gtx with a 7900gt or gtx or would i be better off just upgrading to an other 7800 gtx 256?? and running sli i have the mobo and the psu big enough for it.
