Just wanted to let you all know, if you have a Core 2 Duo w/ the DS-3's or even the S'3 you probally have possibly experienced this situation. (note - we dont have the DQ6 or DS4 in stock, so I cant confirm if you experience this, or if it is related, but if it helps we are glad it helped ya!)
I can confirm this is the cure - we wracked our heads for 48hrs trying to figure why both the DS-3 and the S-3 Gigabyte boards, were giving stuttering in 3dmark06 tests, and even w/in games. Yet, the Intel D965PLTCK had no stuttering, and no problems.
So we thought, great.. gigabyte problem. Well, we found what caused it -
EasyTune 5.0 -- if this is on your systray, quit it before playing games, or doing a 3dmark run - it will alleviate all the stuttering/video skips you might of experienced.
I am really surprised I havent seen this anywhere, I did alot of searching trying to figure what was wrong -- Well there ya go, hope all who have Gigabyte boards are happy to know its not the board, but some issue/bug w/ EasyTune5 and , well.. games.
