Suggestions for quality smallish digicam

Basically I have a rebel xt right now with various lenses that I use for my main camera. I go to a lot of concerts though and I need some sort of backup that I can shove in a pocket and not be so concerned about breakage.

Looking for something in the ~200-300 dollar range. Would be nice to have something with a fairly good zoom and good in low light situations. Not really that concerned about high megapixel or any extra fluff. Just want something to take good concert pics.

how about the cannon sd series like the sd300 or sd500?

Pretty good deal since you are going to have to buy a memory card anyway.
