Suggestions on upgrading my 3xRaptor36gb in raid0

Here's the scoop. I've had this array for a few years, 3x36GBraptor in raid0 via Intel ICH9R.

I play a few games but mostly toy with VM's. Unfortunately nowadays the storage provided is not enough (~100GB).

I am curious to know if replacing my 3x36GB with a 2x640GB WD would increase/hinder performance, and would like you opinions. I would also consider 3x640. I personally do not think performance would improve with a 2x configuration, but this is where you guys come in

I have found if you run a lot of VM's that raid isnt as good as just running individual drives..
