Swiftech Relay Kit

To anser your questions: Yes and Yes. :D

Yes, it should work with pretty much any 110VAC pump and, yes, you'll have to cut the plug-end off of your pump and strip the wires to make use of this relay kit.

dont go cutting the wires yet! The newer ones I see have a female plug connection.

Besides, if it came down to it, I wouldnt degrade a pump like that...I would buy a power cord and cut the female half off, use that cord's wires to strip, and simply plug the pump into that...that way you are only cutting a power cord that is worth a few bucks, rather than a pump thats worth $60-100.

Nope, that's the exact same kit as the previous two--you still have to cut wires. Though, your idea of buying a short extension cord and cutting that instead of the pump's power cord is a pretty good one... You'd just have to figure out what to do with the several feet of power cord that would be left inside your case as a result.

any relays that go:

Pump---------Relay----------power outlet|
...................|
............4-pin Molex

so I don't have to splice the cord? Thinking about using an EHEIM 1048, because it's cheap
