Testing memory useage?

[OPUS1]

I just got an HP DV8 lappy w/ an i7cpu and 6 gigs of memory/Win 7
I've run ACAD/aspire3d/stream music/internate browsing/task manager
and can't get past 27% mem usage
I can get all 8 cores cookin
and turbo boost boostin!
any ideas on how to push mem usage higher?
More programs open...etc.?

A program like Intel Burn Test, when run in maximum stress mode, will consume all of your available memory as well as give your CPU a good cooking. It is best to run it after a fresh reboot, so there is more available memory for it to grab.
