I'm thinking of buying the Fuji Finepix S7000 Z. And I'd like other people who have owned one to give me their opinions. And if anyone else knows of a better digital cam that is comparable, lemme know.

Tried replying to this last night, but it apparently didn't work.

A buddy of mine has an S7000, and he loves it. I was very impressed with it myself. It's got all the features I want, short of beinga DSLR.

If I had the money when I bought my S5000, I'd have bought the S7000 instead.
 
Cool. That sounds good to me. I've never owned a Fuji, always went Canon. And that's why I was so worried. Dpreview had good things to say about it as well.
 
i should be getting my canon a80 in the mail today, but i did alot of research and that camera looked good as well.

(trying not to become one of the supremely biased canon owners, haha)
 
If you dont want to get into the SLR price range then the S7000 is a mighty fine camera, as is the S5000 in its own price range really. :)
 
if you're looking for the features that a fuji 7000 has, perhaps you should just spend $50 more and get a 300D slr with the kit lens.
