Please look at the system in my sig and let me know if there are any major problems I should expect in adding two more 2GB sticks to my system for a total of 4X2 = 8GB RAM. I recently purchased 3D Studio MAX and so need to get as much RAM going as possible within a reasonable budget. If necessary I could upgrade to 2X4GB sticks but that would be expensive and I would have these 2 extra sticks lying around.
Should I expect problems with my X-fi Platinum PCI-E? I have heard it doesn't play nice with more than 4GB of RAM on most systems.
