Thoughts on Virtual Worlds space

So recently work has been looking at the virtual worlds space (second life, club penguin, habbo hotel etc..) and is demographically looking at the 6-11 year old type sites.

I was wondering if you all had some kids that may be into these? What do they think of em? What are some cool things about these sites? whatever else you want to say about em (criticisms?)

I'm just kinda looking into it and trying to get a feel.
