Anyone else find them ridiculous? A $2000 .. err $1741 build with that case and only 8GB of ram? Also why the 120GB SSD when you can easily get a 256GB ssd within budget?

The $1000 build is even more ridiculous... who would suggest a P67 motherboard at this point? And a 7970 at $480 lol.

Yeah I'd rather not have my name associated with Tom's.

But I do agree that their builds are generally poor and ridiculous.With that said, I do like how Tom's actually puts the system together and tests it.
