Tiger Direct 39" 4k Seiki 4k $299 after rebate

any comments on this as a PC monitor, win10 and games

One of the product reviews mentions that the inputs do not support 4K. As with all online product reviews, take it with an appropriately sized grain of salt, but it does not mention whether or not the HDMI inputs are version 1.4 in the specifications...

This TV has been talked to death on here.

1080 gaming is passable, 4k gaming sucks. HDMI 1.4. Takes some tinkering to get the settings right, and in the end there's still a lot of input lag at 4k. I'm waiting for something better (primarily something without the input lag) in the 40" range so I can replace the two I use for monitors, but for now I just deal with the input lag because 40" is perfect for the work I do.

There's another 10% off (stock liquidation depending on location) if you buy it in store locally. Helps offset the sales tax.

not totally uncommon for this tv/monitor to be at $300-ish, I've got one, if you get one read the big thread on the 55" version in the displays subforum, there is a custom firmware that a member made that makes it a lot less of a pain/hassle to setup/use.

You can get 4k@30hz or 1080p@120hz no problem on any of the hdmi plugs. Plug 3 though can be a little more flaky, dropping signal and whatnot, or so I've heard, I've had no issue using plug 3 and a good hdmi cable. I'd highly recommend getting a better hdmi cable with this monitor as the one they supply will drop out every now and then.
