Troubleshooting mac mini issues

I've had a mac mini for over a year now and it's been great. I've installed a Crucial M4 128gb SSD and 8GB of memory, not a single issue until recently when it started locking up to the point where I need to hold the power button down to shut it down and turn it back on. I'm primarily a windows guy so I'm not really up to speed on how to troubleshoot these issues. Poking around I found console which had some type of logs in it, looks like a kernel panic in the description. I've updated the OS to Mountain Lion and the issue continues. It will show error 6002D on reboot and I've also run the AHT which reports no errors. I've swapped memory back to the OEM sticks and it still locks up. I don't really know where else to look or how to decipher these logs.

Can someone point me in a direction to troubleshoot this?

Thanks!
