Hi,
Just have a quick question. Is it alright to use 7/16" tubing over 3/8" fittings/barbs? I'll be using worm clamps to tighten it down.

Thanks

With decent clamps i think youd be fine, although 1/2" barbs would be ideal

Just a question...my Waterblock says it needs these tubes:
Compatible Tubes(Outer x Inner) 13 x 9mm, 12 x 8mm, 11 x 8mm, 10 x 8mm

I bought 3/8" tubes because it seemed to be the right ones. Are they too big? Will a smaller size (1/2"?) tubes fit?

3/8" tubing has a smaller ID than 1/2" tubing. 3/8" is in the 10mm range, 1/2" in the 12~13mm range

I feel stupid.

1/2 -> 4/8. :p

EDIT: Is there a size closer to 8-9mm?

The ID of the tubing should never be larger then the fitting it goes on or you are inviting a leak. to figure mm size convert it to fraction of an inch. 1inch equals 25.4mm so a
tubing sizes
8mm-----------.315in
10mm---------.394in
12mm---------.472in

1/4in-----------.250in
3/8in-----------.375in
1/2in-----------.500in

10mm and 12mm will pretty much exchange with 3/8 and 1/2 but 8mm and 1/4 are not close enough.

According to the links posted abouve (thanks!) 8mm and 1/4 are as close as it gets. So either of these *should* fit with a little...finesse. ;)

Thanks guys.
