Twilight of the GPU

This is way over my head, but still really interesting. It's nice to hear from someone so integrated into the current system thinking so outside the box, and who's obviously excited and motivated by what's possible, instead of what's easy.

The article's over a year old and it's really just talking about Larabee (today we also know about Fermi) and how GPGPU is taking over and how eventually we'll be seeing everything 'on die'. No big surprises there.
