I'm kinda looking for a new headset with good headphones and nice mic. I'm tired of using that el-cheapo thing that came with BF2, although I use Bose headphones and el-cheapo mic seperately, I want a complete headset.

After some research and reading reviews I'm trying to decide between two headsets:

and

if you own them or used them tell me your impressions, what's so good about them?

I read a couple of reviews for each but I'd like to get a second opinion from [H] audiophiles.

5.1 headsets are garbage. If you're looking for a good integrated solution, then I reccomend the Sennheiser PC-150 or PC-160.

I've used a 5.1 headset before, and I enjoyed the hell out of it.. .Not looking at the links, just going by what was said... To each his own though... There were a few things about it, but overall, I enjoyed it...

I hear that for gaming 5.1 sets are nice, I'm not looking headset for everything because I already have good headphones for that... just a set for gaming.

With an X-Fi, the headphone surround combined with quality headphones will give you better sound and better surround than a 5.1 headset. Also, the Razer Barracuda has an issue where several of the channels produce no bass.
