Hello all,
first post (been lurking for probably a year, finally signed up!). I have an Asus EeePC 1005HA Netbook and I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Netbook Remix and I have the normal desktop look on, but I don't have any icons on my desktop, but yet when I navigate Places -> Desktop, it shows all of the icons that I have been trying to store on my desktop. Any ideas on how to make these icons appear?

PS- Bah crappy first post, can a mod move this into the Linux area? I just now saw it after I made the thread. Sorry!
