You must be new to the Internet.
bahahaha, if this forum had a reputation system, buddy, you would've just gotten some +rep

Why would a real extraterrestrial ship, with presumably extremely advanced technology, show up at night with lights glaring and then do a big flassy exit? Why would an extraterrestrial ship need bright glowing lights if they presumably are trying to be stealthy. Not to mention it's a tiny little thing, when I would expect a vehicle that could travel light-years of space to be huge.
All I got out of this is "you guys didn't read anything, your opinions don't matter, you're obviously wrong, here's my opinion, it's the truth".
Its fake, so what? It's harmless to ponder that we may one day meet another sentient being. Yeah, the chances of it happening are absolutely nil even though there are likely thousands of other planets with advanced extraterrestrial life that could communicate with us.
Any intelligent life out there that would have observed us would definately NOT visit us.
Would you want to travel millions of miles to get:
1. Beheaded because you don't "believe"?
2. Eaten?
3. Hit up for a loan?
4. Worshipped as "the Messiah" because your computers don't have fuckwads making viruses for them and setting back technology.
5. Having to explain to an entire species the need for harmony before technology can truely move forward?
Maybe thier cloaking device failed, and that's why they shot up out of site so quickly
This is well done. Very convincing. I wonder how the author did it.
...hopefully our new alien overlords bring some jobs with them.
What "proof" is there that's beyond a shadow of a doubt? It's not a question of agreeing or disagreeing with peoples' opinions. It's perfectly valid to believe that extraterrestrials have visited us and there is proof.
That's what I was thinking. It's just a damn light in the sky.....anyone with a computer and some free time could have made that video. Not trying to be condescending, but we really don't think that someone couldn't splice this relatively low-res footage together in a day or two?
.
a little something to think about:

My personal opinion is that:
a) This video is obviously yet another fake.
b) The Drake Equation suggests there is almost certainly extraterrestrial life.
c) The lack of difinitive proof of encounters with such life suggests there are high technical barriers to traveling to other solar systems which will make future direct physical contact extremely difficult if not impossible.
That was those alien babes dropping off more Bud Light.
Imagine the games we could play if aliens helped us out with some technology.
Life exists beyond Earth, in our galaxy (possibly even in our solar system). Advanced sentient races are thriving. We don't have to worry they will attack Earth for our resources, or even more foolish, for reasons of slave labor. If anything, an advanced species likely has gone through a genetic engineering phase, and possibly even transcended into a computational construct and no longer even has any instinctual/emotional drives (i.e. Any sort of attack on a planet would have to have some reason beyond all currently provided ones). On Earth we haven't fully even globalized ourselves, not having a planetary wide acceptance of all races and peoples, so a higher magnitude comprehension that a universal acceptance of all other sentient beings would be out of the question. Logic and reason.
QFT!
I thought I was the only one who fantasized about how awesome games made with alien tech would be.
+1
Out of this entire Universe, it is impossible to think that we are the only ones. I, for one, believe in the existence of Intelligent Life.
Regardless if this video is real or fake, it should still make you think about the fact that we quite possibly aren't the only ones around.
On the contrary, they are here to steal jobs...
Imagine the games we could play if aliens helped us out with some technology.
I don't care if it is fake or not. The odds of us being the only "intelligent" life in a universe as large (and still expanding) as ours is slim to none.
As you pointed out Drake's Equation does pretty much make EI a mathematical probability if not a certainty. There are however some issues such the fact that some of this extraterrestrial life might have gone extinct already, way before life started on Earth. Billions of years of time is a long time
Point 3 can be debated ad nauseum and I won't go into but there are for sure some barries.
Perhaps cuz the post you refer to is a LINK. The gentleman made ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT to explain SQUAT. He let others do it for him. Those of us who CAN read continued past his failed attempt at communication.
If aliens every came, their presence would not be questioned, period.
So.... fake.
