ultrasharp 2005fpw w/ the stand?

is it possible to buy the dell ultrasharp 2005fpw with only the screen, sans the lcd stand? I'm gonna end up removing it because i'm mounting my monitor on articulated arms, so i dont really need it. Is this possible, and if so, would it knock the price down a little?

also, how good are these monitors referb? I'm really on a budget, and if referb work as well as brand spankin' new i'll prolly wanna take referb..but i donno... any help?
