I have an unusual system.

Dual Pentium III-S 1.4ghz 512k chips running 142mhz bus
Current clock speed 1501mhz

The system features:

Case Antec SX-860
(2) Pentium III-S 512k CPUs
(4) 256MEG PC133 Mushkin Level 2 Rev3 (1Gig total)
Motherboard P3TDDE (awesome motherboard)
Enermax 431W power supply
Liteone CDRW-DVD combo drive
(1) Seagate 7200.7 PATA 160gig HD
Athlon MP Retail heatsinks and fans ( Yes that is right ) using artic silver 5
Soundblaster Live OEM
GeForce 4 TI 4200 128 meg(gainward golden sample vivo)
Floppy
I have 5 smartfans in the machine but I rewired them to all run off a rheostat for noise pollution control

The machine runs windows 98, Server 2003 and Mandrake Linux multiboot

This machine was purpose built to be extremely quiet and reasonably powerful.

It passed memtest all tests for 72+ hours. (Zero errors.) And can run Doom in legacy mode. So it seems stable.

I have no clue how powerful this machine is, or what I can do with it. It does everything I attempt to do with it. Divx encoding, halflife server, unreal tournament 2004 server.

Any Idea of how powerful a machine I have here?

about a pentium 4 2ghz in terms of dual processor performance

sweetness in terms of multi-tasking. :)

My PIII 1.4 goes up to 1753mhz (10.5x167) on 1.45v but the PCI & AGP start causing problems (no 1/5 divider), i've primed it at that for over a day with no errors. unfortunatly I killed my VH6T so i had to look for a replacement.

I should have a P3TDDE turning up in a week, seemed to offer some intresting possabilities with its 1/6 divider at 180 & 200mhz FSB. But realistically as a P3TDDE owner do you think the board itself will actually be stable at 180/200FSB?

have you tried pushing your PIII beyond 1.5ghz? how did you get on?
