Is a Dell U2412M a good upgrade? Knowing I'm fine with the 2209WA gaming performance, is the U2412M going to be worse? Are photos going to look worse? The price is right on that monitor right now. And it's been 4 years and 4 months. Before that, I had a Dell FPW2005 for 4 years. It's time!
If I've been using the 2209wa for apparently 4 years and then some now, and it's been absolutely FINE for my gaming needs, and not bad for my photography needs (and everything in between) - what 24" 16:10 monitor is right for me? My gaming needs consist of playing Day of Defeat Source, and sometimes a Battlefield game. I just take some home photos now and then, and like to look at them and post them for the family. I would probably prefer the photos look better than the gaming performance level, but a happy medium is desired. I think the 2209wa has been great in that respect.
