Upgrade from 8800GT ? or new pc in 5-6months?

AMD Athlon x2 64 6000 @ 3.2GHZ
4 GB of Memory
8800 GT 512mb


its an older box, im not sure if their is any decent video card i can go to which would prolong the life of the box but im worried the CPU will be a major bottle neck for most cards.

Any suggestions? Otherwise I may just get a new box in like 5 to 6months or so.

What kinda motherboard and power supply do you have?

If you have a motherboard that could use AM2+ or AM3 processors, you could do a processor upgrade and a video card upgrade for relatively little. If your motherboard is older or doesn't support newer processors, you might save the case and do everything at once.
