Hi, I'm an absolute "server virtualization" noob. However, today I installed ESXi 5.1, and a guest OS inside it, mainly for learning purposes.

The entire process was easy and flawless, but now I encountered the first troubles: How to access and use guest OS in a comfortable manner? Surely I am not the brightest torch on the cave, but looted vmware documentation and googled, but found almost nothing.

Don't tell me the sole possibility is the pity vSphere Client Console...

Thanks.

it depends on what OS your installing as the guest
if its windows, then you can use Remote Desktop or VNC

Ok, opening another, resizable console, makes the whole thing far better. However, the fixed "folder" console, open by default, generates artifacts.
How can I close/shutdown it?
Thanks.
